Indecent exposure at Collier Dam

Nanaimo, BC – The Nanaimo RCMP is investigating an indecent exposure which occurred at Collier Dam Park on Monday April 3, 2017 at approximately 2:30 pm.

A mother and her young daughter were out for a walk when they were confronted by a male who had exposed himself to them. The suspect uttered some vulgarities then threatened to throw them in the river. He then ran off into nearby bushes and was not seen again. The incident was reported immediately to the Nanaimo RCMP who attended but was unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as follows:

  • Possibly Asian or First Nations male
  • 35-45 years old
  • 5 ft. 5 with a thin build
  • wearing a red hoodie and baggy hat
