Two men killed in New Brunswick crash

Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick – The RCMP is investigating a single vehicle crash that killed two men near Baie-Sainte-Anne, N.B. On April 11, 2017, around 2:25 a.m., a car collided with a power pole on Highway 117 near Baie-Sainte-Anne.

Two men, a 35-year-old from Pointe-Sapin who was driving the car, and a 35-year-old passenger from Bay du Vin, were killed instantly. They were the only occupants of the vehicle.

Speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in the crash. The Northeast District Traffic Analyst attended the scene, and police and the coroner are continuing to investigate.
