Grande Prairie, Alberta – Early this morning, RCMP responded to several complaints of an erratic vehicle in the South end of Grande Prairie.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., RCMP received complaints of a dark coloured pickup with two flat tires and sparks flying, going South on 108 Street. Officers immediately attended the area and began making patrols in search of the truck. Officers came upon three damaged vehicles, one of which that they had originally believed to be the suspect vehicle, parked on the street in the Mission Heights subdivision. A witness advised that none of the vehicles at that location was the suspect vehicle.
The suspect truck was located a short distance away from the damaged vehicles. It had extensive front-end damage. The driver was not located. A witness described the driver as a Caucasian male, heavy set and bald.
