Mission Police Concerned for Safety of Distressed Female

Mission, BC – Shortly before 7pm on April 18th, 2017, Mission RCMP and Lower Mainland Police Dog Services attended the Westminster Abbey for a report of a female in emotional distress. After an extensive search of the surrounding forested area and buildings the female was not located. Police are concerned for the safety of this female and are asking the public if they can provide Police with any further information.

“We are very concerned for this female’s safety and we are asking the female to contact Police for assistance to confirm that she is okay. The safety of this female is the focus of this investigation.” [Constable James Mason, Media Relations Officer]

The female was described as the following:

  • Approximately 17 years old
  • Short Brown Hair
  • Wearing Glasses which might be yellow
  • Grey T-Shirt with the word Dude in pink, on the front
  • Jeans
  • DC Brand Style Shoes

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this female to call Mission RCMP non-emergency line 604-826-7161. If anyone locates a female matching this description please call (9-1-1) immediately.
