Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit Search Rural Property Near Prince Albert, One Arrested

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – On Friday, April 21, 2016, the Prince Albert Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), with the assistance of the Prince Albert RCMP Detachment, executed a search warrant at a rural location near Prince Albert. CFSEU investigators have seized 246 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of marihuana and $3,000.00 cash.

Kole Marchant, 28 years old of Prince Albert, is charged with:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000.00 Section 354(1)(a) and 355(a) of the Criminal Code.
  • Two counts of Breach of Recognizance Section 145(3) of the Criminal Code.

Kole Marchant will be making an appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday, April 24th, 2017.
Kole Marchant was charged in November 2016, after a five month investigation by CFSEU (Project Kahuna) where he was charged with:

  • Conspiracy to traffic cocaine Section 465(1)(c) of the Criminal Code.
  • Possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000.00 Section 354(1)(a) and 355(a) of the Criminal Code.
  • Possession of marihuana Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

A 23 year old female of Prince Albert is charged with:

  • Possession of marihuana Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
