Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section Executes Warrant Yielding Suspected Fentanyl

Fort McMurray, Alberta – On Thursday, April 13th, 2017, the Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section executed search warrants at two residences in Fort McMurray; one on Sifton Avenue and one on Swallow Way.

As a result of the investigation Tiffany RANDELL (25) and David SUMMERFELT (36) were each charged with 3 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as trafficking property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The search warrant resulted in the following suspected drug and cash seizures:

  • 25 grams of Cocaine
  • 144 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
  • 303 fentanyl pills
  • 1,800 cash

Both accused were released on cash bail and are to appear in court May 9th, 2017.
