Airdrie Rural RCMP Investigates Theft of Sunglasses

Balzac, Alberta – Airdrie Rural RCMP are asking the public for information to help identify a male responsible for the theft of Oakley sunglasses from Sunglass Hut located at CrossIron Mills mall in Balzac.

On Monday, May 1, 2017 at approximately 11:20 am, a lone male entered the Sunglass Hut store in CrossIron Mills and stole a pair of Oakley sunglasses valued at $220.00. The male had been in the store for several minutes prior to concealing a pair of sunglasses in his pocket and exiting the store unnoticed.

Male suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Approximately 6’0” tall, in his 20’s, and average build
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and black shoes
