Saskatoon Store Clerk Confronted by Culprits Armed with Sword

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – On 2017-05-16 at approximately 11:00 pm, a business in 400 block of Russell Rd was robbed of cash and cigarettes. Two suspects entered the store, one being armed with sword and confronted clerk. Third suspect stood outside during robbery.

After fleeing scene, a K-9 track was attempted but was unsuccessful in apprehending suspects. The suspects are described as: 1) Male, 16-17yrs old, 5’8 to 5’10 with heavier build, wearing black sweater with white undershirt, white cargo pants, white bandana covering face, white and grey Blue Jays ball cap. 2) Male, 12-15yrs old, 5’5 to 5’6 with thin build, wearing white sweater, black pants, black bandana covering face. 3) Unknown description.

No one was injured in the incident. Investigation continues.
