Help Burnaby RCMP identify suspect in attempted robbery and aggravated assault

Burnaby, BC – Burnaby RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an alleged suspect in a robbery that resulted in significant injuries to the victims. The incident occurred on April 3, 2017 at approximately 7:20 pm, in the 7300-block of Arcola Street in Burnaby. The victims, both residents of Burnaby, have since recovered from their injuries but investigators are continuing with their investigation hoping that with assistance from the public, the suspect will be identified.

It is believed the same suspect is responsible for a similar crime being investigated by the Richmond RCMP and police are hoping someone will be able to identify the suspect from the photographs provided.

The alleged suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • 21 or 22-years-old
  • Olive complexion with short dark brown hair
  • 5’7 (170 cm)
  • Medium build
