Man arrested in Deer Lake following execution of drug search warrant

Deer Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador – On May 29, 2017, Deer Lake RCMP arrested a 48-year-old man following the execution of a search warrant on a residence in the town. Officers were assisted in the search by the RCMP Police Dog Service.

A quantity of Cocaine, Marihuana, prescription medication and cash were seized from the home.

The man, from Deer Lake, is facing five charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in Corner Brook Provincial Court on August 29, 2017.
