Stabbing at Calgary City Hall CTrain station, victim deceased

Calgary, Alberta – The Calgary Police Service can confirm the victim in this incident has died.

The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. No further details are available at this time.


Stabbing at City Hall CTrain station

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a stabbing at the City Hall CTrain station.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., today, Friday, June 2, 2017, reports were received of a stabbing on the platform of the CTrain station.

Upon arrival, officers found a male who had sustained life threatening injuries. He has been transported to hospital.

Investigators currently have one person in custody.

The station remains closed.
