Wind Blows Large Concrete Wall Down Onto Worker in Lethbridge

Lethbridge, Alberta – On June 2, 2017 at approx. 1630 hrs Lethbridge Emergency Services responded to the 100 block of Stonecrest Point West for a workplace accident.

Alberta Occupational Health and Safety also attended the scene where a large concrete wall was blown down by the wind onto a worker on site. The worker was transported to hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

Alberta OH&S will be conducting their investigation into the incident. No further information will be released by Lethbridge Police.
