Camrose Police Service Targets Drugs Dealers, Six Charged

Camrose, Alberta – Members of the Camrose Police Service Major Crimes Unit and Red Deer ALERT Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit have concluded a drug operation on June 3rd, 2017 resulting in a total of 33 charges being laid against a total of 6 individuals.

During the course of the investigation, two search warrants were conducted on two residences in the city of Camrose, and all 6 individuals were arrested late Friday evening and early Saturday morning. During the course of the investigation police seized:

  • 9.3 grams of cocaine
  • 60.8 grams of methamphetamine
  • 100 milliliters of GHB
  • 60 milliliters of codeine
  • $18,230 cash

The following people have been charged:

Michael William Cheaters , 32, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Shawnna Julia-Ann Pelletier, 31, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession of Proceeds of Crime (x3), Possession of a Controlled Substance (x2), and Breach of Probation.

Marie-Lou Lise Juneau, 35, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance (x2), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Sheldon Ray Barore, 20, was charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (x2), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Catlin David Rushfeldt, 26, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Proceeds of Crime (x2), and Fail to Comply with a Recognizance (x2).

Stephany Brooke Schmutz, 21, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Trafficking a Controlled Substance (x2), Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Proceeds of Crime (x3), and Breach of Probation.
