Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Saskatoon Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person who was reportedly observing children in a park yesterday afternoon.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m., June 5, 2017, Patrol officers responded to a complaint of a man who had been watching children in the park and was believed to be taking pictures on his cell phone. He was last seen walking southbound away from the park towards Junor Avenue and McClocklin Road. The man was gone upon Police arrival.
The man is described as being Caucasian, approximately 5’9″ in height with a slim build, in this late 40’s with short “scruffy” brown hair and “scruffy” facial hair. He was described as wearing black pants and a black long sleeve shirt or jacket, and walked with a limp.
The public is reminded to be vigilant about their own safety and is encouraged to notify Police immediately of suspicious persons or activity.
