Whitecourt, Alberta – Whitecourt RCMP have made two arrests connected to the recent vandalism spree in the town of Whitecourt.
On June 3, 2017 Whitecourt RCMP arrested an adult male and one male youth in response to several complaints of mischief and stolen golf carts in the downtown core on May 11 and May 12, 2017.
Charges are pending against both males. The name of the adult male cannot be released as the information has yet to be sworn and the name of the male youth will be withheld according to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The investigation is on-going and Whitecourt RCMP are still seeking additional persons responsible.

Whitecourt RCMP looking for public assistance while investigating a $60,000.00 vandalism spree that occurred last night.
Whitecourt, Alberta – RCMP are investigating a rash of vandalism that occurred sometime between last night (May 11) and early this morning (May 12). Several schools, buildings, and vehicles in the Whitecourt Valley were targeted and a large number of golf carts were stolen and damaged. Police are looking for five males and two females in their late teens or early 20s. Damages are believed to be in excess of $60,000.
