Camrose Police Call Summary June 7, 2017

Camrose, Alberta – Police responded to a residence regarding a dispute. Upon arrival Police noted a vehicle fleeing the area and conducted a traffic stop. The male passenger in the vehicle was identified and determined to have several warrants out of four different cities for a variety of offences. The 30 year old man from Hobbema was arrested on his warrants and is in custody waiting on a bail hearing.

A west end business contacted Police to advise that they had a shoplifter in custody at their store. Police attended and the youth was charged with theft and possession of stolen property and released on an appearance notice.
Police received a second call from a west end business indicating that a shoplifter had just left the store and described the vehicle to Police. Police were able to identify the owner of the vehicle as well as the female passenger who had stolen property. The female will be charged with theft.

A third call was received from a west end business regarding a female who had left the store with stolen merchandise. Police were provided with a description and license plate number of the involved vehicle. Police have identified the owner of the vehicle and charges are pending.
