Three Arrested in Medicine Hat in Connection to Stolen Property

Medicine Hat, Alberta – On June 6th, 2017 at approximately 5:30 p.m. a member of the Medicine Hat Police Service Patrol Section noticed a suspicious vehicle located in the area of 12 Street NW. Upon further investigation it was discovered that both the license plate and the vehicle had been reported stolen from Winnipeg, MB.

When the officer attempted to arrest the three occupants of the vehicle, one was taken into custody, while the other two fled on foot. Following a short pursuit another of the occupants was taken into custody a short time later, with the third suspect arrested after he was successfully tracked by PSD Flint and located near the South Saskatchewan River.

Resulting from this investigation, two adult males and one adult female are currently held in custody and charges of possession of stolen property are expected to be laid later in the day.
