London, Ontario – Over the course of the weekend, between Friday afternoon at approximately 12:45 p.m. and Sunday at approximately 2:00 p.m., London Police responded in relation to eight individuals who were involved in six separate incidents requiring emergency medical treatment as a result of possible overdoses after ingesting or injecting drugs.
In four of the six incidents, individuals involved report the use of fentanyl or heroin. In one of the incidents, one individual died as a result of a suspected overdose.
The London Police Service would like to remind the public of the risks of using drugs, particularly opioids.
