Two suspects arrested following pursuit resulting in three collisions with police vehicles

Foremost, Alberta – RCMP from Raymond, Taber and Foremost detachments have arrested 2 suspects after a vehicle pursuit that led to three collisions with police vehicles.

At approximately 2:10 pm today, members from the Raymond RCMP detachment attempted a traffic stop with a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The vehicle fled from police, striking two police vehicles in the process. Officers pursued the vehicle and contacted neighbouring detachments as well as Lethbridge police and the Calgary Police Service HAWCS helicopter for assistance.

During the course of the events, three police vehicles were struck by the stolen vehicle and a RCMP officer discharged their service pistol.

The pursuit ended near the town of Foremost and two suspects, 1 male and 1 female, were taken into custody. No one was injured during the incident and the investigation is ongoing. An update will be provided when charges have been laid against the two individuals arrested.
