Winnipeg Police Respond to “Suspicious Male in Women’s Washroom” Call

Winnipeg, Manitoba – On June 13, 2017 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Winnipeg Police were called to the University of Winnipeg regarding a suspicious male in the women’s washroom.

A staff member reported that approximately 8:00 a.m. she entered a female washroom and upon entering a stall she heard another person enter the washroom. She then observed a male crawling on the washroom floor looking under stall doors before standing up and looking through a gap in the door of her stall. The staff member yelled and the male fled.

The suspect is described as an aboriginal male, 20 – 25 years of age, 5’7″ – 5″9″ in height, with average build and short dark hair.
