Edmonton Homicide detectives investigate early morning suspicious death

Edmonton, Alberta – EPS Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a male that occurred early this morning.

On Thursday, June 15, 2017, police responded to an altercation at a residence around 4 a.m. in the area of 72 Street and 144 Avenue. Upon arrival, police found two injured males. EMS treated and transported the males to hospital.

A 29-year-old male succumbed to his injuries and a 40-year-old male is still in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An autopsy is scheduled for today.
