Meth, Marihuana, Brass Knuckles & Break in Tools Found During Camrose Traffic Stop

Camrose, Alberta – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and arrested the driver for outstanding warrants. An odor of marihuana was noted by Police and (3) occupants were arrested from inside the vehicle.

During the search Police found numerous baggies of methamphetamine, a small quantity of marihuana, brass knuckles, and knife and numerous tools redesigned to be break in tools. (2) males were arrested and charged with numerous offences including possess breaking tools, possession of prohibited weapons, possession of controlled substances x2, and numerous breaches of probation orders.

Police received a 911 call from a citizen concerned of a possible gas leak from inside a residence. Police, CFD, Atco and EMS were called to scene where CFD determined the leak was coming from a crack in the furnace, and proceeded to shut off the gas valve. Large accumulation of Carbon monoxide was present throughout the residence.

The occupant of the residence was transported to St. Mary’s for overnight observation.
