Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Winnipeg Man Wanted for Murder

Kitchener, Ontario – On June 16, 2017, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a 31-year-old Winnipeg man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

The Canada-wide warrant was issued on December 7, 2016 for several charges, including second degree murder in relation to a homicide that occurred in Winnipeg in November, 2016.

Waterloo Regional Police were advised on June 14 that the suspect may be staying in Kitchener and, as part of the investigation, were able to make an arrest in the area of Victoria Street and Westmount Road.

The investigation is ongoing.
