Strathmore, Alberta – Strathmore RCMP advise they are currently investigating a serious collision at the intersection of Glenmore Trail and Highway 791. A tanker truck and a private bus have collided making the intersection impassable at this time.
Two adult passengers of the bus are being treated for serious injuries. One passenger is being transported to an area hospital by ground Ambulance and the other being transported by STARS.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is on scene assisting with the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation at this time.
Glenmore Trail and Highway 791 is expected to be impassable for several hours. RCMP are asking motorists to choose an alternate route.

Strathmore RCMP Investigating Serious Collision on Glenmore Trail *UPDATE 1*
Strathmore, Alberta – Strathmore RCMP advise that the collision scene at Glenmore Trail and Highway 791 has since been cleared and normal traffic flow has resumed.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and Strathmore RCMP do not have an updated status of the injured passengers at this time.
An update will be provided once more information becomes available and the preliminary investigation is completed.
