Abbotsford Police Department Arrest Alleged Gang Associate Akshay SACHDEVA

Abbotsford, BC – On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, the Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant at the home of 18-year-old Akshay SACHDEVA. This resulted in the location of several controlled substances including Fentanyl. SACHDEVA is associated to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict.

Akshay SACHDEVA has now been charged with 4 counts of Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking in Controlled Substances (including Fentanyl) as a result of this investigation. He was on a Recognizance of Bail for a May 26, 2017, Assault charge at the time of this arrest.

The APD will continue to investigate and arrest individuals involved in gang crime and drug distribution.
