Airdrie Rural RCMP Requests Assistance with iPad Theft

Balzac, Alberta – Airdrie Rural RCMP are asking the public for information to help identify a female and male suspect involved in the theft of an iPad from the Tim Hortons located on Crossiron Lane in Balzac.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at approximately 9:30 pm, a female and a male couple entered the Tim Hortons and ordered coffee. While awaiting their order, they spotted an iPad on the counter. The male took the iPad and handed it to the female whom hid the iPad under her sweater and exited the store. The male then waited for his coffee and exited after receiving his order. The couple then left the area in a white Smart car.

The female suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Approximately 30 years old, average height and build with dark brown hair
  • Wearing a black sweater, black shirt, black tights, and black shoes

The male suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
    Approximately 35 years old, average height and thin build with short brown hair and side burns
  • Wearing a red “Pringles” t-shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes, and a silver watch
  • Half sleeve tattoos on both of his arms
