Wood Buffalo RCMP Save Ducklings From the Sewer

Fort McMurray, Alberta – On June 25th, 2017, just before 8:00am, police received a report of ducklings that had fallen into the sewer near the intersection of Ash Way and Lodgepole Way, in Fort McMurray.

When police arrived, they found the mother duck on the ground, but they could hear the ducklings below, in the sewer. The members removed the manhole cover, and climbed into the sewer to save the ducklings. All seven ducklings were retrieved and returned to their mother.
