$19,000 in Saddles Stolen from Okotoks Ranch Recovered at Innisfail Auction Mart, Two Arrested

Innisfail Alberta – On June 24th, 2017 RCMP Innisfail was contacted by the RCMP livestock section who reported that there may be stolen property being sold by two individuals at the Innisfail Auction Mart. Innisfail RCMP, Nanton RCMP and the RCMP livestock section working in partnership were able to identify and arrest a male and a female suspect. Approximately $19,000 in saddles that had been stolen from a ranch near Okotoks were recovered and returned to the owner, who was happy to have them back.

24 year old female Paige RIST of Calgary Alberta has been charged with:

– Trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5000
– Fail ro comply with conditions of Undertaking or Recognizance X4
– Possession of a schedule I drug – Methamphetamine

36 year old male Dwayne IRELAND of Calgary Alberta has been charged with:

– Trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5000
– Resist/ obstruct peace officer X2
– Illegal Possession of Government Document
– Fail to Comply Probation Order X2

IRELAND is currently in jail until his first appearance on July 5th, 2017. RIST was released on a court compelling document with conditions for July 7th, 2017.
