Drug Search Warrant Executed in Prince Albert, Two Arrested

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – Two people are in custody with numerous firearms and drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was executed Wednesday afternoon.


Just before 5:00 p.m., June 28, 2017 members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 Block of 28th Street East. As a result of the search investigators located an SKS rifle, 11 individually wrapped packages of cocaine, 62 codeine pills and evidence of drug trafficking.

A 26 year old male and 35 year old female, both from Prince Albert are charged with Possession of a Firearm, Careless Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public, Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Codeine for the Purpose of Trafficking (Info # 991017194).

Both accused will make their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

The Prince Albert ISET team is a combined forces section made up of members of the Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
