Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – The Saskatoon Police Service and the Coroner’s Office have identified the deceased male reported to the public on July 1, 2017. The SPS had sought the assistance of the public in identifying the male who was found in the 1000 block of Avenue P North. With the assistance of the below media release, the male was identified and the family has been informed.

On the morning of July 1, 2017, at 7:00 a.m., investigators responded to a report of a deceased male in the 1000 block of Avenue P North.
While it is believed that the death is non-suspicious, the Major Crime Section is seeking assistance from the public in identifying this person. The deceased is described as an Indigenous male between the ages of 18 to 24 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, thin build, with short dark hair and a scruffy beard. Clothing worn is described as grey hoodie/bunny hug, dark grey long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and under the blue jeans were plaid pajama bottoms, and he had on black ankle-high hiking boots.
Investigators believe that the deceased has had recent medical care as band aids on his arms reflect recent blood work.
