Airdrie RCMP Investigates Theft of Camera System from Semi

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are asking the public for information with regards to the theft of a commercial dashboard camera and monitor from a semi that occurred on East Lake Road in Airdrie.

Sometime on June 11th or June 12th, 2017, a lone male suspect broke into a semi parked on East Lake Road near ADESA Calgary Auction. The suspect used a concealed stick of some sort to smash the semi cabin window. The suspect then crawled into the cabin of the semi and stole a commercial dashboard camera and monitor worth approximately $1000.

The suspect is described as:

  • Approximately 40 year old male
  • Shaggy black hair and scruffy facial hair
  • Wearing prescription glasses, grey hoodie, black t-shirt, black ball cap, denim jeans, white sneakers, and black gloves
