Camrose Police Arrest Woman Who Used Mother’s I.D. to Lease Equipment

Camrose, Alberta – A vehicle dealership reported that someone had attempted to steal a customer’s vehicle overnight. Police are investigating.

Police entered into a fraud investigation regarding a female who used her mother’s identification to lease some equipment. The female was interviewed and she has been charged with forgery, uttering a forged document, impersonation and fraud. The female was released on a promise to appear with conditions.

A resident reported that her bike had been stolen from her yard over the weekend. The bike lock had been cut and an older bike had been left in its place. Police are investigating.

Police were advised of a verbal dispute at a residence. Police mediated the situation and then separated the involved parties for the night.

Late at night Police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle and the 21 year old female passenger was identified and determined to have a curfew condition. Upon her arrest the female was searched and Police located a weapon and a small quantity of methamphetamine. The female was charged with possession of a controlled substance and five counts of breaching conditions. She is in custody waiting on a bail hearing.

Police received a complaint of a theft of fuel from a gas station and are investigating.
