Two Males Charged With Carrying Concealed Weapons in Prince Albert

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – On Monday, July 10, 2017 Prince Albert Police Service responded to a call of two people trying to break-and-enter into vehicles and they were found by police and charged with concealed weapons charges.

At approximately 11:22 p.m. Prince Albert Police Service members attended to the area of 1700 Allbright Crescent where two males were seen walking around attempting to break into vehicles.

The two males were located by officers running eastbound on 1700 block of Blackwood.

One male was arrested immediately by officers. The other male was located using Police Service Dog PSD (Daxa) to locate the male who was found by officers hiding in a back yard on 100 Block Bauer Bay and was without incident.

Both males were searched upon arrest. One male had a concealed knife and a machete on his person. The other male had a concealed knife on his person.

A 21-year-old male from Saskatoon is charged with carrying a concealed weapon (Information #991018488).

A 22-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon (Information #991018487).
