Fort McMurray, Alberta – July 17, 2017 – On July 13th, 2017, Corwin Benjamin turned himself into the Wood Buffalo RCMP Detachment, where he was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. He has been released from custody, and his court date is July 24th, 2017 at the Fort McMurray Provincial Court.
The Victim of the assault is stable, but remains in the hospital.
On July 9th, 2017 at approximately 3:30 AM, in the area of Sitka Dr, Fort McMurray, a male was stabbed and seriously injured. The victim, a 23 year old man from Fort McMurray, was transported to the hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
Police have arrested and charged a 25 year old man from Fort McMurray, with Aggravated Assault. He has been released from custody, and his next court appearance is July 24th, 2017, in Fort McMurray Provincial Court.
There is an arrest warrant out for Corwin Benjamin, who will also be charged with Aggravated Assault. Benjamin is a 27 year old man from Fort McMurray, and is described as:

- Height: 5’11”
- Weight: 155 lbs
- Hair: Black
- Eyes: Black
