Male Charged With Public Intoxication After Yelling Profanities Outside Camrose Bowling Alley

Camrose, Alberta – July 21st, 2017 – An east end gas station reported a theft of fuel and provided a licence plate number and description of the vehicle. Police checks indicated that the vehicle was stolen. Police have seized video surveillance from the business and are attempting to identify the male responsible.

The Loss Prevention Officer at a west end business contacted Police after apprehending a shoplifter. The female was given a verbal warning and served with a trespass notice not to return to the business.

Police received a complaint of a male who was yelling profanities outside in the area of the bowling alley. Police located and arrested the 21 year old male who was grossly intoxicated. He was charged with public intoxication and later released on a promise to appear.

A traffic stop resulted in the 46 year old male driver being arrested on outstanding warrants out of Edmonton. He was later released on a promise to appear.
