Edmonton investigators release composite sketch of indecent act suspect

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch of a male suspect wanted in connection with an alleged indecent act that occurred in a bridal dress retail store on July 5th.

Southeast Division patrol members responded to a bridal store in south Edmonton in the evening on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, after receiving a complaint regarding an alleged indecent act that occurred in the shop.

It was reported to police that a male entered the bridal dress store sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. that evening, then approached an employee for assistance in viewing bridesmaids’ dresses.

The employee then handed the male several dresses, which the male took into a fitting room. Upon returning to the fitting room, the employee discovered the suspect had moved to a back room, where he was standing between two dress racks with his shorts pulled down and exposing his genitals.

The male suspect quickly left the store and was seen driving away in a truck.

The suspect is described as being a tanned Caucasian male with blue eyes, in his late 30s to early 40s in age and around 6’5” tall with a large nose.

He was wearing flip flop sandals, a mint green T-shirt, possibly American Eagle brand with grey cargo shorts at the time of the incident.
