Alberta man charged in connection with New Brunswick break and enters

Greater Lakeburn, New Brunswick – A 42-year-old Alberta man has been charged in connection with two break and enters.

On July 25, 2017, around 3:30 p.m., Southeast District RCMP were called to a home on Highway 132 in Greater Lakeburn, just outside Dieppe. When police arrived, they discovered a window had been broken in the home. With the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, they located a man on a neighbouring property. Police also recovered a stolen vehicle linked to another break and enter in Cap-Pelé on Chemin de l’Aboiteau between July 24 and July 25.

William Ronald Nissen of Edmonton, Alberta appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on July 26 and was charged with break and enter, possession of a stolen vehicle and failing to comply with an undertaking. He was remanded in custody and will return to court on August 1.

The investigation is continuing.
