Airdrie RCMP Investigate Gas and Dash, Theft, and Stolen Vehicle

Airdrie, Alberta – On July 13, 2017 Airdrie RCMP were notified of a theft that occurred at the Shell gas station on Centre Avenue at approximately 1:24 pm that afternoon.

Video surveillance showed a male suspect filling up a vehicle with gas, then going inside the store to pick up food items and cigarettes. The male appears to try and pay for items, but then removes debit card from machine and runs out to vehicle and flees. When the plate for the vehicle was ran, it showed to be stolen.
