Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – The Saskatoon Police Service attended to a Break and Enter in progress to a Group Home located in the 100blk McCallum Lane on July 29, 2017 at approximately 0212hrs.
When officers arrived they located a traumatized 33 year old male victim who is a resident there along with a female staff member with a possible dislocated knee and another male staff member who was assaulted.
Police located the suspect hiding in another residents room. A 18 year old male was immediately arrested and faces the following charges. Break and Enter, Assault X2, and Assault causing bodily harm. The suspect is believed to be high on methamphetamine at the time of his arrest.
The male resident and male staff member were treated at scene and released. The female staff member was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The suspect is not known to the victims.
