St. Albert, Alberta – After a lengthy police investigation, St. Albert RCMP, assisted by K Division RCMP Auto-Theft Section, confirmed that items seized from the property located at the corner of Villeneuve Road and Range Road 255 north of the Deer Ridge area of St. Albert, were stolen. Some of the vehicles and vehicle parts had the Vehicle Identification Numbers altered, which made the investigation more difficult.
As well, St. Albert RCMP made extensive efforts to locate the person renting this property and when local efforts failed, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Trevor Skoro.
Trevor Skoro, age 43, of St. Albert, AB, is facing charges of:
- 12 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- 3 counts of Tampering with Vehicle Identification Numbers
- 1 count of Fraudulent Concealment
- 2 counts of Theft
- 5 counts of Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking
- 2 counts of Possession of a Weapon Contrary to a Judicial Order
Skoro was released by a Justice of the Peace on $2,500.00 cash bail with several release conditions and is required to attend St. Albert Provincial Court on August 14, 2017.

Search Warrant Seizes Stolen Property
Albert, AB – On June 30, 2016, St. Albert RCMP received intelligence about stolen items at a property located at the intersection of Villeneuve Road and Range Road 255, north of the Deer Ridge area of St, Albert. The RCMP investigation, which involved a search warrant, has resulted in the seizure of multiple vehicle parts, trailers and equipment, all of which are believed to be stolen property. In addition, large quantities of marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine drugs were seized from this same property.
The police investigation is still on-going and charges are pending in this matter. No arrests have been made in this matter yet.
The RCMP Auto-theft section and the RCMP Police Service dog Section assisted St. Albert RCMP General Duty officers with this investigation.
