Man wanted on warrants for commercial robberies in Calgary – ARRESTED – CASE CLOSED

Calgary, Alberta – August 10, 2017 UPDATE  – The Calgary Police Service has arrested a man wanted on robbery warrants.

Daniel LOVEYS, 28, was taken into custody without incident this morning, Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017. He had been sought on warrants in relation to a number of commercial robberies that took place throughout the city between Friday, July 28, 2017 and Sunday, July 30, 2017.

The CPS would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance with this case.

BACKGROUND

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a man wanted on warrants.

Daniel LOVEYS, 28, is wanted on warrants in relation to a number of commercial robberies that took place throughout the city between Friday, July 28, 2017 and Sunday, July 30, 2017. LOVEYS has a significant history of robberies involving a weapon.

He is described as 5’10” tall, with a slim build. He has brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.
