Suspicious fire at a camp in Wayerton, N.B.

Wayerton, New Brunswick – The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public’s help in investigating a suspicious fire at a camp in Wayerton, N.B.

On July 29, 2017, around 9 p.m. a fire broke out at a camp off Urquhart Road in Wayerton. The fire caused extensive damage to the camp. The cause of the fire is considered suspicious.

An ATV was seen in the area around the time the fire was started. RCMP are interested in speaking with the person on the ATV as they may have information relevant to the investigation.
