Camrose Police attended collision scene at intersection of Marler Drive and 65th street

Camrose, Alberta – August 8th, 2017 – Police attended a collision scene at the intersection of Marler Drive and 65th street where a vehicle had crashed into a tree. It was determined that the front axle of the vehicle broke as the male operator was negotiating the corner causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

A male reported that his 2011 Dodge Ram was stolen while at a party in Camrose. Police are investigating.

An unlocked bike was stolen from a residence on 51st avenue in the 5400 block. The red Trek mountain bike was stolen from beside the owner’s garage.

A gas station reported that they were missing several packs of cigarettes. Police are reviewing video surveillance to determine if a theft occurred and to identify a possible suspect.

A compliant was received of a heavily intoxicated male outside a residence on Mt. Pleasant Drive. The male was identified by Police and was arrested on outstanding warrants. He was released in the morning and was charged with public intoxication.
