Saskatoon Biker Killed in Lloydminster Collision

Lloydminster, Alberta – On August 7, 2017 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Lloydminster RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 16 and College Drive.

An eastbound motorcycle collided with a half-ton pickup truck, who was turning southbound from Highway 16 onto College Drive. The male driver of the motorcycle, a resident of Saskatoon, passed away from his injuries sustained in the collision.

Next of kin has been notified and the identity of the deceased will not be released.

There were three occupants in the pickup truck, one received minor injuries as a result of the collision.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the Lloydminster RCMP.
