La Crete, Alberta – The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada is investigating after a plane crash last night just outside La Crete.
On August 9, 2017 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Fort Vermillion RCMP were dispatched to a report of a plane crash north of the airport. A crop dusting plane was located in a field with extensive damage.
The pilot and lone occupant of the plane, a 43 year old male from La Crete was pronounced dead on scene. His name will not be released.
The incident remains under investigation.
