Airdrie RCMP Making Blizzard Treats for DQ Miracle Treat Day

Airdrie, Alberta– Airdrie RCMP were busy yesterday making Blizzard Treats at both Airdrie DQ locations. Members rolled up their sleeves and put on aprons to assist with this year’s DQ Miracle Treat Day.

On Thursday, August 10, 2017, participating DQ locations across Canada held their annual Miracle Treat Day. On this day, net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ locations is donated to local Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals including the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“This was my first Miracle Treat Day in Airdrie and I had a blast working alongside the deputy fire chiefs, the MLA and the Mayor. Seeing how incredibly supportive the community was as they donated to a great cause was inspiring. I’m proud to be part of this community,” said Inspector Kim Pasloske.
