St. Albert, Alberta – On Saturday, August 12, 2017, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a confrontation occurred at the Blind Pig Pub in St. Albert. A man, Suspect #1, described as an Aboriginal male, about 5’7″ tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with short dark hair and wearing a blue jacket, was involved in an argument and a shoving match with a 35 year old Caucasian man near the bathroom in the basement of the pub.
Later, the Caucasian man and his friend were approached by the same Aboriginal man, Suspect #1,and a second man, Suspect #2, who was described as a Caucasian man with dark hair that was about 2 inches in length and was spiked up. This man had a little bit of facial hair and was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants. This man, Suspect #2, stated that “No on pushes my brother around” and then punched the 35 year old Caucasian man in the jaw.
The 35 year old Caucasian man left the bar and later sought medical treatment for serious, but non-life threatening injuries to his jaw.
St. Albert RCMP would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this confrontation or anyone involved in order to determine exactly what happened that night. Witnesses or persons involved in the confrontation are asked to call the St. Albert RCMP at 780 458 7700.
