Strathcona County RCMP investigate sexual assault

Strathcona County, Alberta – Strathcona County RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in gathering information on the following crime:

On Monday August 14, 2017 at approximately 5:27 p.m. a female was walking on a path heading eastbound off Cloverbar Lane when she was approached from behind by an unknown male. The male grabbed the female’s waist and lead her into tall grass next to the path. As the female was being sexually assaulted she was able to break free and yell for help. The male ran westbound up the path towards Cloverbar Lane and the female immediately called police.

The male is described as caucasian, 6 feet tall, 200-250 Ibs, fair complexion, short brown hair with balding on the top. The male was wearing a white golf shirt, blue jeans and skateboard type shoes.
