Baddeck RCMP investigates single-vehicle ATV collision

Baddeck, Nova Scotia – Baddeck RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle ATV collision.

The RCMP, assisted by the Bras d’Or Volunteer Fire Department and EHS, responded to the collision on New Campbellton Rd. at 3:41 p.m. on August 18.

Three youths were riding a side-by-side model ATV when it rolled over. The driver, a 15-year-old girl, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by LifeFlight to hospital in Halifax. One passenger, a 16-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries. The other passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was uninjured.

The ATV was seized and the investigation in ongoing.
