Airdrie RCMP Investigates Theft of Liquor from Big Star Liquor

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are asking the public for information with regards to the theft of liquor from Big Star Liquor on Yankee Valley Boulevard in Airdrie.

On July 30, 2017 at 7:00 pm, two female suspects entered Big Star Liquor in Airdrie. One female was able to grab a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and place it in her “MK” bag and then flee from the store. This was done while the other female distracted the store employee by having a conversation. A photo was obtained of the female with the “MK” bag entering the store.

The female suspect whom took the bottle of liquor is described as:

  • Approximately 30 years old and medium build with darker skin
  • Wearing a black Blue Jays ball cap, white tank top with pattern, black tights, gold sandals
  • Carrying a Tiffany blue-coloured MK bag
One female was able to grab a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and place it in her “MK” bag and then flee from the store.
